Hello,
Thanks for your question! I know much about the Dell Inspiron 5502 laptop because my brother has that one. It is really fast because of NVMe SSD. The display is really good (sRGB 100%, full HD, IPS) and comfortable on the eyes (eye-care technology). 4GB RAM is not enough. You can always upgrade the ram. The backlit keyboard is good but hard to visible in the day because of poor contrast. The graphic card is entry-level and not worth it. If you play games on this laptop, it will get very warm. The cooling system is not quite good. Consider buying a laptop with the Nvidia RTX series graphics card that is good for running deep learning algorithms. It is better to get at least a 6-core processor. Dell Inspiron 5502 has different configurations depending on the model number. Please check it and send me the specific details. I bought an ASUS laptop (ASUS — TUF Gaming 17.3" Laptop — Intel Core i5–11260H 8GB Memory — NVIDIA GeForce RTX3050 Ti — 512GB SSD, model number-FX706HE-211.TM17, details: https://www.asus.com/Laptops/For-Gaming/TUF-Gaming/2021-ASUS-TUF-Gaming-F17/). I bought it from Best Buy and it is still on the way to my home. I will update you after I receive it. I think it is really good for data science, gaming because it has a very powerful GPU (NVIDIA GeForce RTX3050 Ti), 17.3 full HD, IPS, sRGB 72% eye-care display, 6-core powerful processor, great cooling system, NVme SSD, 8GB RAM 3200mhz. You can buy it for around $800 in a sales period.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Rukshan.
